SAFETY & NAVIGATION Essex Marina has reported an 8m section of mooring pontoon missing following yesterday’s gales (no vessel’s attached). Despite a search carried out by the Crouch Harbour Authority the pontoon has not been located. Mariners are therefore advised to keep a sharp look out and report any sighting to Essex Marina on 01702 258531

SAFETY Mariners are advised that Burnham Sailing Club's Pontoon has been severely damaged in this afternoon’s strong winds and is not to be used under any circumstances. Efforts will be made to safely secure all plastic components as the wind gradually eases. Mariners are kindly requested to keep a sharp look out and to notify the Harbour Authority if any components are seen floating in the river

Mariners are advised that the Swallowtail West - Westerly Cardinal Light Buoy in position: 51º 40.043’ N 001º 02.661’ E is off station.

Ski Licences will only be granted to vessels with an overall length, not greater than 7 metres. This measurement is to be taken from the stem and to include any Bathing Platform fitted.
