Successful prosecutions for breaches of CHA Speed Limits

In January of this year [2019] The Crouch Harbour Authority [CHA] successfully prosecuted 2 persons for separate breaches of CHA Byelaw No 6 SPEED LIMITS.

The incidents took place during late summer 2018 within the maximum of 8 knots speed limit zone within the Burnham Fairway.

The cases were heard at Chelmsford Magistrates Court. Both defendants pleaded guilty to the charge and were both issued with fines and court costs.
